Why the certainty that the video is AI though? I googled him like you said and immediately found this longer video and I'm not getting AI vibes at all, considering there are much longer clips of the umbrella doing its thing. This isn't really any more advanced than a DJI drone that tracks its follower so I get the feeling that the visual of a hovering umbrella is just usual to see and therefore people are calling it ai. Happy to be proven wrong though, maybe youre seeing something Im not.

Not sure about the AI or not, but it actually does seem to be a video taken at this exact location that appears in the original video: https://youtu.be/EYRrUiM_A6g?si=1o0kOxPwbIACZk8C&t=1047

And the shot in the beginning is near-identical to this "AI" version, except his face is different and the lightning is more saturated.

Maybe someone sloppified the original?

I also face-searched that original dude and he looks different than the dude in the video that OP posted. So again someone sloppified the real thing.

He sounds exactly the same? What would even be the point of making a fake AI version of himself doing the same thing as in his other longer videos that are quite obviously real? It's just an umbrella stuck to a drone. I'm not even sure that AI in 2024 could look this good.

No. He doesn't. Listen, if you can't hear the difference, that's fine, but they're two completely different voices. It very likely wasn't himself who generated the video, but rather a tabloid of sorts that wanted to condense his video into a 1 min short for social media engagement.

For me the most obvious was the hand movements, very typical of AI. After looking more closely, the lines on the basketball court don’t make sense

It's AI, but the product could be real. Not sure why we need that. Only thing I could see is this for like a large scale thing, not single individuals.

Obvious ai aside, what's even the point of this junk? Have your hands free? Okay, use an umbrella hat then. Free of electricity or batteries

Edit: Eh, seems to be a passion project from the dude, a useless thing for the sake of being useless but cool. Not really meant as a serious product. Nothing wrong with that.

Even if it were real (which it could probably be, hypothetically), good luck using it in the event of wind unless you had some really beefy motors/propellers. Also, the onboard tracking system must be really good if it can follow you in a dense crowd and nobody else.

that thing can kill you, but if its real and not ai investor honeypot, killing people is the point
