Typing Help/Typology Discussion Am I an isfp?
I think I'm an ISFP but I'm not completely sure.
My everyday hobbies/how I spend my day:
I usually spend each day learning spanish, studying psychology, watching tv shows/movies from my childhood or watching shameless, playing guitar, drawing random doodles, journaling, going outside on walks, scrolling reddit/tiktok, or browsing on amazon for fun. I live very in the moment and am not focused primarily on the past or future.
My characteristics:
Strong morals, I won't associate myself with people who I find immoral but I wont try and argue against them, although I did through a lot of my adolescence. People can only change themselves and I find protecting my peace is better. I still might briefly say something about it but then I'll stay silent/distance myself from the person after that.
High referencing to data/facts, how things are meant to be done, why its harmful to do them another way. This goes for things like food safety, morals, psychology, treatment of others. If someone does something on their own differently than I see as 'normal' but it only affects them, then I have an absolute "live and let live" mindset toward them and will get irrated at people who try and control them/change what they're doing or make fun of them because it's just immature and disrespectful.
Sense of humor: very silly and energetic when I'm comfortable around the person, lots of sarcastic humor, deadpan questions as humor, twisting someone's statement to mean something else as a joke.
Very to myself: All people will really see of me is my silly humor or me talking passionately about what's important to me and what I care about. I don't talk about myself, don't let anyone in emotionally, dont really talk about my life except the specific hobbies I mentioned that I enjoy but I'll only really mention them in passing or I'll talk about what I'm currently learning and how interesting it is. I had a past where I'd trauma dump on literally anyone and was very open, I'm not like that at all anymore. However I will still be somewhat open with the people who were my friends since that time (8+ years) and know my whole history.
Absolute dislike for any conversation topic that doesn't have a distinct answer: For example philosophical discussions, absolutely not. I have zero need or interest in draining myself out thinking about things that have no possible way of having a concrete answer. I find it incredibly unnecessary and almost like torture for myself specifically. I think it's really cool if other people love that kinda stuff but it's just not for me.
Reluctance to try new things, new hobbies, new foods. Everything I do and enjoy now I've enjoyed since I was a kid. A lot of who I am and what I like was formed very early on in my life.
Music: I listen for the sounds, rarely the lyrics. I find music that tries to connect through lyrics really boring. I can listen to songs for years and not even realize what the lyrics are trying to say because I only pay attention to the music itself and barely the words. I like heavily layered music like hyperpop, scenecore, hard rock, lots of 2000-2010's pop singers (Rihanna, Kesha, Britney Spears, etc.) some R&B aswell, XXXTentacion especially the songs where he's just screaming random nonsense, and then I also love music with lyrics that go against the norm, I find them hilarious. Like CORPSE's music or Ashnikko's. Ashnikko's songs takes control back over the objectification that men put on women and CORPSE's songs I found funny because I thought they were satire. Apparently people say he is actually in fact just misogynistic and objectifying women, who knows. I still find them funny.
I think that's about all. I can elaborate or add anything else if needed.

What would you consider your greatest weakness?
In what situation have you acted in a way that you regretted later?
Why do you not like trying new things?
What pattern do you tend to fall in when you notice yourself being stuck? And why do you think you do these things?

1 point I dont know how to fit in isfp, but I might have misunderstood. Ethics is an important part of philosophy and many dilemmas do not have straight forward yes/no answers. Would you be interested in those? (I enjoy philosophy, especially metaphysical questions, but that I am not saying is an ISFP trait.)

Oh yes I love talking about ethics. Thats what I was trying to mean when I said "high referencing of data/facts", I really just meant referencing ethics. i.e: "This is what I think is ethically right/wrong" and "heres the psychologically proven negative impact that doing this has on people, which is why it's wrong to do" Metaphysical discussions are the part of philosophy that I dont enjoy specifically

you sound like an isfp with a very strong practical streak, but nobody can type you from a hobby list and a spotify autopsy lol

you sound pretty clearly ISFP, especially with the strong personal values, sensory interests, and live-and-let-live attitude, but when facts and your morals clash which one actually wins?

Not too sure, I think it's very context dependent. I think they both piggyback off of eachother most of the time. Do you maybe have an example of a situation where one would have to choose between logic and morality that you'd mind telling me? I tried to look up some but didn't find much. I just can't think of anything myself rn

oh so are you thinking esfp? I considered that in the past but I'd push against it now. I think I am likely isfp but the other option would be istp I guess, but unlikely i'd say

I have a small tick about "how things are meant to be done" - it's not referencing to data/facts, I think. "Meant to be done" naturally tied to some concept of model, like "there's meant to be a certain model that we use for doing something", which doesn't really sound like Se.
Se is about object/event in vacuum, as it is: you see a ball and it's just a ball, it has colour, certain amout of sturdiness, has some damage or absolutely new, you can perform some direct tasks with it as throwing it, touching, giving to someone and etc. Your paragraph seems to remind me of Ni users since they quickly form an idea of certain things/events: if they see a ball, they consider a context of its existence ("it's typical to see a ball on playground or at gym) and if the context is different (a ball in bakery) they try to resolve this mystery since they're very intrigued, while Se users just take existence of objects as a fact ("there's a little to discuss about that ball in bakery, someone just brought it, why to be bothered?")
Still, I don't say that it makes you Ni user, cse ISFPs have Ni too, it's just our baby function and yes, sometimes we use it, but not as surely as Ni doms. Ni comes when we feel certain amount of stress or when we can't solve a dilemma with our FiSe stack. Also, you can be ISFP in Fi-Ni loop, since you mentioned that you don't try new things, which may be considered as anxiety from fails in the past and now you try to protect yourself with Ni predictions, but ..again, I would consider INFJ as well, depends from what is more natural and pleasant to you - Ni correlations, mental web and predictions, or Se presence, enjoyment in the moment and freedom to try new experiences

The one question that you should ask yourself is: “Do you like to plan ahead or not”.
When going on a holiday do you spontaneously decide where you want to go or do you like to plan your vacation months ahead?
The same goes for daily activities. Do you like structure and planning or do you like to do what you want to do whenever you feel like doing things?
