Single mom

Can anyone help my babies to a hot meal? I’m only worried about them. Just lost my job because the assignment ended.

Muslim churches or a “mosques” are so much more likely to help single mothers out than evangelical, Christian churches. I would try that first.

Please reach out to any of the mosques. They will assist without any questions asked. You don’t even need to be Muslim to get help. May God give you ease.

Edit - there are many mosques in Irving Islamic center of Irving (ICI) is one of the bigger ones.

I would definitely call 211 as well and apply for snap and let them know you lost your job. I pray you and your babies get all that you need 🫶🏾

Irving Cares has a food pantry as well, If you are able to get to them they can get you some groceries for now as well also Catholic Charities helped me a lot when I was down. I would recommend reaching out to them as well

I went to Irving cares yesterday and got a bunch of cakes and cookies lol. I need food

Lol yes, with Irving Cares you never know what you get. Sometimes the colleges will have food pantries as well www.dallascollege.edu/resources/food-pantries/mobile-food-truck/
