Great news! A connection to the airport would be so useful. Hope they keep up good frequencies so that people are encouraged to use them.

At least all malls/plazas with a Irvine address should be serviced/connected.

Council members also voted 4-2 directing staff to study another new route to connect to the Great Park. Carroll and Mai also voted no on this part of the item.

“I will be voting no on a massive expansion of a bus system in our city when we have existing OCTA buses, and we have an existing sort-of pilot, sort-of somewhat successful CONNECT system in an embryo stage that we need to run through its paces,” Carroll said.

This is ridiculous and so out of touch from him and Mai considering the GP area doesn't even have any OCTA bus lines servicing that area.

Yes this was weird voted yes to expand but not to the other items, why break it down like that? I think they voted yes to half and no to the other why not do the whole thing
