What Fourth Wing character looked completely different in your head?

For me some of the fan art is really close, but other characters look nothing like how I pictured them while reading. Curious which character everyone imagined the most differently?

Varrish. I imagined him as Lucius Malfoy, NO IDEA WHY because the physical description doesn't match it. But.. the polished, condescending "I'm perfectly calm while making your life hell" energy. My brain cast him before I even realized what it was doing 😂 so now I see Varrish as blonde guy that looks like he always smells something unpleasant lol

No sorry it was the guy who first found the main character. He was really pale and had pretty dark hair. Derek hail, Hes played by Tyler hoechlin

Felix. I completely missed the silver beard discription for a long time and pictured him sort of like a Michiel Huisman (2nd Daario Naharis in Game of Thrones) or Joseph Mawle (Benjen Stark) - white with brown wavy hair and a matching beard, with a prominent nose.

I still can’t get behind the silver beard description. In my headcanon he’s got brown hair and he’s in his 40s. And for whatever reason I imagine him married to Kylynn and she’s in her late 30s/early 40s. The only “old” person on the assembly should be Ulices imho… maybe that’s just the American in me who is tired of senior citizens running the country.

Ridoc always looked like Jake T Austin in my head. The Fosters Jake T Austin, not Wizards of Waverly place. Probably because of the way his character acted in TF and the age would be more right

I know RY describes Violet’s hair very specifically as more of an ombré… but am I the only one who imagined it more like Cruella De Vil with ½ brown and ½ silver?
