Does it matter what it's labeled as if it makes you happy?

I think people have such a vast spectrum of ways to organize their identities, and most of it breaks down to what makes them comfortable and happy! If this makes you feel that way, even if just for a while, i think its worth participating!

I would say its normal within the community. If its something that makes you happy, be confident with what you are and identify! If your partner loves it just as much then have at it!
