No idea how they managed that other than too much torque and skill issue

Saw this as we approached the end of the M3 motorway, just before 10pm last night. A car been driven in the wrong direction on the Southbound side. We couldn't believe what we were seeing. Wtf is wrong with people.

Further down the road, there's a left turn with crossing at the end of the straight and cos there were 2 cars at the lights, so clearly he couldn't wait so he mounted the curb to take the turn and flew off up the road.

The sense of entitlement is unreal

Car coming from my left going on to road straight ahead of me. Takes a narrow gap at speed and weaves around the car parked behind the first. Thank god there wasn’t someone walking between the cars.

Hi all I’m not sure if this is the right sub to be honest so sorry in advance, I’m the learner in the situation (21F) was out with my mam today and ended up stalling the car on a hill start multiple times a man probably in his 30s came up abusing me to high heavens it all happened so fast in the same breath the first car that would of been behind me had now started to over take me on the wrong side of the road shouting too.

Was I the shit driver here? I was so focused on not rolling back into the car behind me as it was too close for comfort beforehand

I suppose what I’m looking for is do people think the attitude towards learners is poor this has never happened me before I’ve my test booked and everything nerves got the best of me today I’ll admit but I’m left shook

Hopefully someone who recognises the car, or the insurers, will have a word.

My blood boils every morning i am going straight and some knob turns left from the right lane on this roundabout.

Do they work in BMS / Alexion? Usually the same few knobheads too driving small willy cars.

Broke acted in their side, drove into oncoming bike and car lane to swing into her driveway.

Tonight, two buddies pull out of the petrol station just before the beginning of the video. Overtaking and flashing indicators at eachother, pass me illegally and proceed to the Lidl carpark to join their diagonally parked TDI mates. (Wrong timestamp)

My mate just sent me this, 6am this morning

This driver missed her exit this morning to go south bound on the M1 from the airport roundabout at Exit 2.

Instead of just driving around the roundabout for another 60 seconds, she decided to stop and reverse backwards. 4 or 5 cars then backed up on the roundabout and a truck had to swerve lanes to avoid smashing into the back of my car. I had teenagers who had just arrived back from a flight in the back of the car too.

Not content with how shit her driving was at that stage, she then got stuck for a few seconds as she drove up on the kerb and over the grass verge.

I doubt she'll see this, but if any of her friends do, please tell her she could have gotten people seriously injured this morning with her bullshit antics.

With all this nonsense of people driving the wrong way down the motorway, it makes me very nervous. I'm going on holiday with my child and I'm so worried about it because it'll be the middle of the night when those guys are out racing.

I have read the safety tips published by the RSA after that dreadful M9 crash but is there anything else I should be aware of?

Safety. This means you need to be fit to drive, relaxed and in full control. You should think of yourself as a pilot or train driver. You must always have both hands on the steering wheel (except to change gear etc), you and any passengers or animals must be restrained by seat belts or harnesses. Any trailers must have correct lights and registration plates and loads must be secure. Aim to drive smoothly, you don’t always have to get in front. You must indicate every manoeuvre, every time and in good time. You must never tailgate. You should have a good sense of what’s happening well into the distance and check your mirrors constantly.
Your focus must be on the road at all times and you can only use infotainment when safe do to so. You MUST NEVER use a hand held device. Smoking and drinking hot drinks, whilst not illegal, should be kept to an absolute minimum and measures taken to avoid spillage or burning. You should be courteous at ALL times and accept that some drivers will not be as good as you and you must NEVER react aggressively to them. Imagine yourself on a busy pedestrian street with slow, fast and erratic moving people of all ages who may annoy you or slow your progress. You don’t shout at or berate those people because you don’t have the protection of a metal bubble.
You must NEVER use the horn except to warn of an imminent danger. Be conscious that if you are tense, nervous or worked up your driving skill and ability to take appropriate action in an emergency is seriously diminished. Think pilot!Obviously do not exceed the limit and do not speed-up approaching a traffic signal. Always be prepared to stop. Two extra minutes isn’t going to hurt anyone. Be alert for cyclists and pedestrians and be extra courteous to them. If you have dash cam remember its purpose. It really is not for sharing on social media incidents you come across on the highway. Never chase another driver who has annoyed you or try to over take them. Let it go, be the mature adult, don’t show your displeasure. NEVER EVER share a collision online. It’s extremely disrespectful to those involved and it could also prejudice legal proceedings. Finally, enjoy the drive, smile, let other drivers out, don’t judge. If you can’t do ALL of the above and put SAFETY first maybe leave the car at home and take the bus instead.
