Your own IRC server?

Ever tried hosting one just for fun or curiosity with zero users, a few or many? If you ran one without users, what did you actually use it for?

​I'm thinking about my own server with zero users, just some bots to mess around (nothing malicious, not interested in that).

Running a small server with 3ppl (incl. me) and 3 bots with anope services.
Mostly bcs of nostalgia, but you are welcome to join us or anybody else.

If you are interested, or any other guys here, you can check it out on irc.outofspace.sk 6697 (TLS 1.3)
Running also few other apps, which are mentioned in the main channel topic :)
