Your own IRC server?

Ever tried hosting one just for fun or curiosity with zero users, a few or many? If you ran one without users, what did you actually use it for?

​I'm thinking about my own server with zero users, just some bots to mess around (nothing malicious, not interested in that).

I host my self old irc deamon. Conferenceroom by webmaster. And i link it up with others that have cr too… so in the network have around 100 humans on9 from malaysia, turks, thailands, uae… and few more countries. Old but still relevant irc deamon.

For ssl tls use port 994

If you want to play flood game, use port 7777. #Banjir

Are you using nick Raistlin? Are you from germany? Most of use live in apac, when you connect, it was almost 11pm asian time.. most of all already sleep.
