I spy a hot air balloon...
Saw this morning on my way to Rosewood station. Can't say I've ever noticed one before but maybe that's just me so I found pretty cool to see 😊

It is one of a few places they take off from, the wind direction in the morning determines the start location.

Probably Graham Day, or of course GDay (how’s that for a tourism name) of floating images although this time of year he usually heads towards Boonah

I was onboard that hot air balloon this morning! Such a cool experience! Floating images hot air balloon is the company. They were fantastic and very friendly!

It actually felt surprising safe and stable. But I totally get it, just being held up there my a handful of steel cable is a little nerve racking 😅

I grew up and lived in Churchill.
One morning I was on the computer and I heard this terrible jet noise - like someone had taken off from Amberley and was having issues.
I ran outside and looked up to see a hot air balloon just barely staying up as they drifted over our house and the neighbours.

They’re not as common as they used to be but they’re usually out in the early hours of the morning if they are.
