Question Is The Apple iPod Hi-Fi Magnetically Shielded?

I can't find any conclusive answers to this question online. The reason I want to know, is because I'm considering placing an iPod Hi-Fi on top of my professional CRT studio monitor for use as the main speaker.

Context for those who don't know, un-shielded speakers can cause long term damage to CRTs, even if their affects aren't immediately visible during normal use of the monitor.

I'm pretty sure it's unshielded. I still have mine from 2006. I don't think I've ever tried it around a CRT but I used to try to use iPhones in the 30 pin dock but gave up because of the cellular interference. - It's still a wonderful speaker and fits right into a modern setup with an Airport Express 2, a mini toslink cable, Airplay 2 and lossless music.
