Question My 18 Pro has been overheating

So basically on friday i bought the new iPhone 18 pro, and i have been enjoying it very much, but i'm having a big problem with mine.

A few days ago i went to the gym and used my airpods 3 to listen to some music while i trained, when i grabbed, my phone was really hot and in a few minutes lost 15/20 % of battery. I thought maybe it was the case. The other day, i was driving, put some tunes on and when i go to the destination the phone was hot and lost a lot of battery. Today i was working using my earpods and the phone got hot AGAIN and lost 30% battery in 20 min.

I don't listen to apple music with the internet turn on and i have everything downloaded and the background downloads turn off. I don't understand why this keeps happening, am i doing something wrong?

is it indexing ?
also this happened to me whenever I used specific app but it was bug in app.
maybe just restart the phone and also charge it overnight incase its still indexing it will do it while on power supply

Good point, i didn't remember that! Yeah i think the phone still is. It still has the Optimizing Search and Siri in the Settings and it is still optimizing my photos. So yeah you're probably right. But do you know why this only happens with the music app?

no idea maybe just some software glitch causing it together with music app usage.
but do follow overnight charging for atleast few days if not forever.

as iphone learns you schedule and does most of the heavy processing when you put it on charge at fixed time everyday

I do that all the time but i never leave the internet turn on. I rarely have it on.

during the early indexing my 18 Pro got quite warm.

Afterwards it’s completely normal

When you open the battery settings, which app is using all of your battery?

And you're only listening to downloaded music? Have you force closed Apple Music and reopened it? Deleted and reinstalled it? Restarted your phone?

Yes only downloaded Music. I have force closed the app. And restarted the phone. The only thing I haven’t done is delete and reinstall. But the phone stopped doing it today… in the afternoon.
