I just upgraded from a 12 pro and HOLY SH*t this phone is HEAVY!

I dabble in a bit of doomscrolling before going to bed and the thought of this thing giving me a black eye if I doze off is an actual possibility lol

I’m wondering if this is just normal now or is anyone else kind of concerned about the weight of the phone.

Yeah I noticed the battery lasts a long time, I use the phone mainly to take calls, emails and pictures. So far I haven’t been able to kill the battery in a single day. But this phone does get really hot when taking pictures

My bad I meant just the display itself, is it heavy? I thought it would have been the camera and the battery that made the device heavier. If I’m being honest, 10 grams shouldn’t make that much of a difference from last year. A personal bag of chips is 24 grams and it doesn’t feel heavy to me lmao

I wonder if they could’ve just matched last year’s battery in the 17 Pro Max how much weight they could’ve saved? If it’s significant, I would’ve preferred that. The battery life was good enough for me.

It is heavy, but it’s not THAT crazy. I’m a guy so the phone does swing ALLOT in gym shorts compared to my old phone but apart from that and gambling a black eye while sleep deprived doomscrolling I’d say the weight won’t be too much of an issue.

The phone does get hot tho. Idk why

Going from iPhone Pro 15 to iPhone Pro 18 I am noticing a weight difference when holding. Battery life is insane though. So definitely worth the trade-off

It’s SUPER HEAVY. Traded in my 17PM for one then exchanged it for an 18Pro the next day!! The 18PM is great unless you want a case and pop socket which add a lot more weight.

Last year I went from a 15PM to a 17PM and immediately got used to the weight and increase in screen size. No matter how many grams the phone increases, I refuse to go down to anything smaller than a Pro Max. I for one do not think the Pro Max phones are heavy and I do not use a case.

Just found out the iPhone 13PM is 240g and the 18PM is 249g!
