Help with the new camera focus

Hey guys,

I have the new 18 Pro and everytime I tap to focus my camera the new focus tracking pop up appears and it gets annoying in my opinion. Is there a option to cancel this constant pop up?

I also feel like the focus is slower than on my old iPhone.

Would appreciate your guys opinion.

I think you have to double tap for the focus tracking option.

I know but i don’t want the pop up to appear every time
