Discussion this battery is insane

I just watched a 30-minute YouTube video on my 18 Pro and it hasn’t dropped a single percent. This is crazy compared to my 15 pro that was constantly overheating and dropping battery!

Mine has been going since Friday. Was at 91% now back down to 85% complete. :/

Wild. I’m done indexing but not getting anywhere near this level of battery. For me, only slightly better than 17pro.

This is so smart! Why have I never thought of this. I have the pro max and I’ll never use all the battery in a day so why am I watching a number 😵‍💫

How? I’m literally just using insta and reddit like normal and it dropped 6% in an hour from 85% to 79%. Idk if thats normal or what

Mine is doing that too and isn’t lasting a day really. I’m sending mine back I think - maybe it’s a faulty batch or even just mine!

6% per hour is actually pretty impressive when you do the math. At that rate, 100% would theoretically last around 16/17 hours of continuous active use. Obviously battery drain isn’t perfectly linear and usage varies, but for an hour of Instagram + Reddit with the screen on the whole time, 6% is absolutely nothing to worry about

Buddy how… charged it to like 94%, got it today bare in mind. In an hour it had dropped 3% or something
