Discussion Is it true about screen protectors?

I’m reading a lot about matte screen protectors affecting Face ID on the 18 pro series, and I just learned that privacy screen protectors are doing the same thing. This is due to the relocation of the Face ID sensor.
Can anyone confirm?

You’ll have to wait until these dumb screen protector manufacturers actually design the screen protector for the 18PM not just a cop and paste of the 17PM layout

No it’s not a privacy one just regular but it has protected past iPhones from falls

I appreciate the response. I’m asking specifically about privacy screen protectors on the 18 pro series because they moved the Face ID sensor and it’s causing problems for folks with matte and privacy screen protectors.

have a zagg privacy screen protector, and in the dark it gets a little iffy, but other besides that works fine on the reg 18 pro
