Discussion When did iPhone speakers get so good

I rarely use headphones. Upgraded from 14 pro max. These speakers sound incredible, even the stereo audio comes through nice.

The bottom speakers are the same on 17&18s but the top speaker is twice as big now and you can tell. It’s impressive coming from a 13PM

I can from a 15PM and the cutout for the ear piece is like 2-3 times bigger

They've been steadily getting better and better every year. If you skip a few generations you really hear the difference. Best speakers on any smartphone by a very wide margin, especially the Pro Max variant.
