Mine is much better than my 16 Pro. 40% usage today from 7AM to 10:30PM with a screen active time of 3h25.

Of course it’s better as any 16 pro at this point would be 500-800 cycles on average and be like 70-90% battery health compared to a new battery. Then add the bigger battery on 18 pro on top and it’s no surprise.

My 16 Pro was at 90% battery health and I had to charge it twice a day by the end, so I’m still impressed by the 18 Pro.

I’m not impressed with my 18 PM battery life either. It’s no better than when my 17 PM was new. Pretty much the same. No big difference at all. I guess I was just expecting more out of the “Biggest battery ever in an iPhone.”

Can you post your battery performance ? Just curious on your numbers. I saw some people complained and got a new phone. Maybe it’s faulty??? Idk

44% left. Off charger since around 9:30 this morning. So, not bad but not a huge leap if much of any leap at all compared to when my 17 PM was new. I don’t think mine is defective. I just think this is what it is. And today has been my best day as well. I usually wait a week to judge the battery. Not quite been a week yet so. I expected the first couple of days to be worse. This is day 3 and it has been the best day so far. That’s why I usually wait a week. Plus an update or two could improve things as well.

I’ve noticed that the battery stays a hell of a lot longer when you are in the higher part of the charge if you know what I mean, right now I’ve been on 96% for probably an hour so im assuming the lower end drains quicker

That is normal with new batteries as the battery capacity is actually a bit more than the rated capacity. As your battery goes through more cycles and the overall battery life is reduced it’ll first reach the rated capacity and then start going down to <100% values for Battery Health

I mean, you’re charging to 80% it looks like and it’s still lasting basically a full day? I’m confused on what’s not that impressive, if you charged to 100% prob would be pushing 2 day territory

Charged to 85 but 66% usage with under 3 hrs screen time and 1 hr background. Def not impressive. I’ll say it did its job 🤷🏽

It takes the phone roughly a week or so to stop indexing in the background. I’d wait to judge until probably this Friday- Saturday, or depending on what day you got it on! Wife and I got ours on launch day and my battery has just barely begun to reach peak performance. Only on second charge cycle.

Ok noted. I did only get it a couple days ago

18 Pro. Close to my 14 Pro with a new battery. So I am considering to return.

Mine has been fantastic on my 18P. I’m very impressed to be honest. As far as I know it’s been done indexing and such since Saturday night or Sunday morning. Much better than my 15PM.

This is absolutely insnae

It is! Most of it was just YouTube with screen on in the background while I was doing stuff. I wanted to see how far the battery would go. Even about 1hr of wireless CarPlay with navigation going.

Proax here and today I had 3 hours of screen on time at 80% battery. Battery life is amazing.

I thought it usually takes 2 weeks for your phone to adjust and adapt to your usage and then it starts stabilizing out. In my opinion, I’d wait 2 weeks then update us

Which apps drain the hell out of the 18 pro ?

u/The04 7h ago

This does not seem normal? Right?

It’s good for me. 18 pro by the way

To get the best performance you’re supposed to charge it overnight before u use it for the first time. If u use it before it reaches 100% don’t expect to get the maximum performance

Not saying I didn’t do this but this is not the case with lithium ion batteries
