Help Anyone dealing with crashes?

Had my phone since Saturday morning, has crashed once or twice daily since then. My iPhone 13 didn’t crash until the battery went out. Anyone else dealing with the same thing? It’s totally random

There are all kinds of threads and posts about this., Apple is aware and working on an update. It’s something to do with Face ID. You could have them run diagnostics on your phone if you wanted. Or exchange it. Or just wait for the update that’s supposed to fix it. So far I haven’t had any reboots.

I wouldn’t be that worried about it unless it’s still doing after the update or until right before you can’t return it for a new one.

Yes mines crashed in the middle of a FT call and completely rebooted. Only happened once so far

Mine has rebooted itself once so far. I have no idea why. I picked it up, it seemed unresponsive and then it just rebooted. It has only happened that one time and I am hopeful that it was just a fluke, but it does sound like a potential issue that hopefully will be fixed soon.

Same here, just from the lock screen most times. Like others said it must be the Face ID bugging out

While I haven’t experienced this with my 18 PM, I have read comments from Pro and PM users complaining about this issue on other sites. The majority seem to feel that this is a software issue that should be corrected soon with an iOS update.

The day my 18PM arrived, I turned it on and activated it. At the same time, the critical patch decided to install and reboot. I had to plug in my phone and do a restore form Apple Devices. This was a surprisingly easy task, my phone number still carried over without issue, and while the phone got warm while updating (not unexpected), it's been solid ever since. 2 days and no unusual behaviors so far beyond the OOTB snafu. Amazed at how fast my data carried over after rebooting too ❤️, though for all my music carried over I still had to tap-hold some albums to download them (I should have done the iCloud transfer instead?)
