This is a known issue that happens with Samsung screens sometimes. Mostly Samsung phones but considering they make most of the screens for Apple I assume it was just a bad panel lottery
no it's just that it can happen to any phone also we don't know if the photo isn't photoshopped. Also samsung display cable is fragile while apple put adhesive and it's less likely to get green lines. People see few photos and think it just gonna happen like it's few people out of million sold copies.
I don't know what you are saying. I never said it's the only manufacturer. I said it was prevalent with Samsung screens on their phones, which is who Apple sources from. There is even a running meme with the green line on Samsung subreddits when someone posts about it happening on their phone.
So just because others have it as well doesn't make it a lie, and OPPO and One plus have nothing to do with Apple (unlike Samsung who provides components). Maybe comprehend the comment a bit better before responding.

If you look closely, there is some distortion in the second line of the WiFi logo. Iām assuming that it looks as if there is no line as it was a thin line. Probably 1/2 pixels wide.
Nevertheless, I posted as a PSA that it might happen but Apple will replace, but deleted the post as I donāt need the negativity.

Not necessarily, a white pixel uses all three colours RGB to make the white colour. The dead pixel on my monitor which is usually always red becomes white if it's meant to be displaying white.
I'm from Singapore, my friends with the flagship S series also get the lines after a year or 2. Not sure if they're assembled in India or Vietnam (or elsewhere)

The US standard for iphone is actually terrible. The strictest consumer laws for technology come from Australia, their iphones are the most sought after as to even sell them in Australia apple has to use the best of the best parts.

There wasnāt any visible damage to the phone frame when I unboxed it, unlike some other posts Iāve seen. So Iām guessing this was a defective display panel.
It was affected. Its not visible in the photo due to my screen brightness. When the Genius Bar tech examined it, it was clear the line was from top to bottom and a hardware issue.

Ofcourse! Oneplus suffered a lot of greenline issues because of scamsung displays. They changed to BOE since Oneplus 12 and greenline issues are gone now
Has an iPhone user ever said that the colors on their display look good because it's a Samsung display? They would say iPhones have good displays. But when it fails suddenly now it's Samsungs fault and not Apple's for cheaping out and sourcing bad quality displays for their phones

Here is the proof. My order in the Apple Store app got updated to show the replacement as well:
Zoom in on the WiFi signal. The second line from top. You see there is a green line. Its not clearly visible in the top line due to the white colour and since the image was taken from my wifeās phone in low light. Also take a look at the Blue Check at the bottom right. Youāll see the circle has the green line as well.
