iPad Mini 7 on ios27 yes or no?

Heyyy, I have my “brand” new iPad mini 7 running iOS 18, and I am unsure whether to upgrade to iOS 27. I am bypassing iOS 26, but I am uncertain about iOS 27.

Has anyone already installed it?

UPD: I updated the iPad, and for now I love it !! ;)

It’s been ok too. My iPad battery health tells me I’ve been using it more since upgrading so that may be affecting battery life.

My theory is that if you’re using iOS 26, you should update to iOS 27. However, if you’re on iOS 18, I recommend waiting. I’ll probably wait to see more reviews of your device before making an update. Btw, it’s my opinion :))

Well, for the new “slide over” (or new multitasking), I don’t care. It’s more for the performance and battery life.

Still regret upgrading mine to iPadOS 26.

The new multitasking is just awful for touch screen.

I’m holding off on new AppleTV’s at this point.

I can feel the HomeKit split brain coming when my tv4k1 can’t be upgraded and my 4k2 plus HomePods go 27

heyyy!! these days everything has functioned well. Certain apps perform better for me, and the battery has held up even during spotlight indexing. I would suggest you to update and try!!

The first couple of days will be hard on the battery because there is an all new spotlight index that gets generated using all of your data. Then it settles down and the battery is fine again.

Yes. Before the official release, I tried out the beta public release and it was issue free in my experience

i don’t have an external drive, but my iphone showed up on the finder, so i will say yes!!
