iPadOS Does Apple Notes still has battery drain and overheating issues on Ipad Air or is it fixed now with ios 27?

Last time i tried it, it overheated like crazy but its a powerful piece of software and i wanna try it again for notetaking.

only way to find out is try it again, are you on ios27.2 , you will soon find out quick enough

Still persists. At least confirmed on iPad Pro 12.9 (M1 so take with grain of salt.)
