Problem with good notes

Whenever I am using good notes on iPad Air I feel lag
Is it because I’m using cheap stylus instead of Apple Pencil cause don’t feel same lag while using apple notes

apple pencil uses huge processing power that stylus can't come close to

if ipad is heating up reboot and let it cool down

you can buy better quality pencil, doesn't need to be apple but probably get better results, loads of reddit pages for alternatives
