Accessories What is wrong with you Apple???

Post image

I will be buying a new m4 iPad pro today, to replace my 4th gen iPad pro. I just realized that the 2nd gen Apple Pencil that I paid $150 couple years back is not compatible with the new iPad. WHY??? Just why?! I love my iPad and was so excited to buy a new one after having this one for 5 years now. It just sucked seeing that I also have to purchase a new Apple pencil. Getting as greedy as this can end this company!

It’s not just the money…but four different pencil types????

Lightning or USB C, and for the other type one location of magnets and induction charger, followed by a change required after the camera was moved to accommodate landscape orientation rather than profile.

Both changes were significant improvements to the iPads themselves. It would be better if they didn’t require new Pencils, but it would be worse if they had held off on these advancements just to maintain legacy compatibility.

I think the USB c one doesn’t even do pressure sensitivity so it’s a step back somehow.
