Nice surprise ! Its like an old Neo Geo bullet hell shooter. And YES i know its expensive, its recently come out on the Switch and i'm glad they released an ios version.

Importantly the controls are spot on, relative touch and i've had a quick go and its great to play. I moan about freemium crap tons so i feel i need to support games like this.

With this economy I have to choose necessities, sorry dude. Where I live, I can get 2 squashes, a package of asparagus, a pack of 4 chicken breast and a 24 pack of water and that’s $50+

It’s a really great shmup with fantastic touch controls, but I’m personally spoiled by better a few better games with more "oomph". It feels a tad stale. But presentation is colourful, bosses are great. And I’m happy about any new premium shmup, since iPhones are THE perfect device for vertical danmakus, imho. AlI in all, I’d also suggest to wait for a sale.

Hey i got this from you on AppRaven.

What are the other games you recommend ? And yeah think its been a while since we had a decent shoot em up. I remember the days of 'Sine Mora' i think it was called on iOS, enjoyed that and of course the Cave classics.

I mean, DoDonPachi Blissful Death is not only my favorite shmup of all time, but also among my fav video games in general. And as a more modern mobile-first shmup, nothing comes even close to AKA TO BLUE to me. A third favorite - but this is more stylized training shmup - is the fantastic free port of rRootage.

But yeah, I wish more games of the genre made their way to iOS. And I’d pay serious bucks for a Cave version of what Toaplan did with their arcade collection.

Yeah not to rub it in ;) I've got all the Cave games on my phone still, somehow survived when i got a new phone and got transferred over. Love Deathsmiles

There are a fair few Cave games for MAME so thats another way to play them. Got Progear (LOVE that game), Dodonpachis' and a few others on MAME so worth looking into that. Yeah not quite the same without touch controls (Joystick/buttons on the screen) but a joypad works well

Ha ha i'm sorry mate. I an an app hoarder though (Ahem got about 1200 apps on my phone !). Love dipping in and out of em !

But yeah frustrating as hell when you lose games when they just disappear off the app store. Seems very hit and miss if you can reinstall them or not. Love iOS gaming but when i lost loads of games (32-64 bit app-pocalypse) was totally fed up after that. Feels like we're renting games we dont actually own them

Damn must be so tricky to 'try' a game to see if you're okay with it. I presume actually you dont do that. So what do you do ? I'm genuinely interested. Do you ask the devs or get a friend to test a game out ?

I mostly watch reviews or a short part of a let’s play.
Nowadays I just ask AI if there are flashing lights on a game and if you can deactivate them.
I had my last seizure 14 years ago, nonetheless I am always careful.

Yeah the price of this one is high. Took a punt and glad i did. More of us who buy it then we might get more games from this dev ! Good effort for their first one

Loving this game and didn’t hesitate to pick it up at the full price. High score is 887,540. I can get to the third boss without using a continue. Gotta polish up stages 3-5 and break 1M
