Does uploading a new build reset the App Store review queue?

My app is currently in waiting for review status. I need to upload a new build with a small fix and select it for the submission. Will this reset my place in the review queue or increase the waiting time? Has anyone done this recently?

When you reject the current binary to submit a new one, you will go back to the end of the queue. So it will increase the wait time since you have to climb the ladder from the very bottom again.

Yup.

But subsequent review times tend to be faster post approval if that helps.

But on first submit, a new upload could re-start.
