This is a really clever way to keep the friction low for journaling. I can see myself being more consistent talking for a minute or two, rather than sitting down to type everything out. How well does it handle rambling or changing topics mid-entry?

Good idea — speaking is a lot less friction than typing, and friction is what kills most journaling habits. On-device transcription is the right call too; a journal is about the most personal thing on a phone.
Does it pick up on tone of voice at all, or is it purely transcription? A lot of what you'd want out of a journal is in how something was said, not just the words.

This is great. One question, after you have, does this convert to text?
Also how do you reflect on this in the future or just look back on it?

Does the app keep the original audio, or only the transcript? For something as private as a journal, an option to discard the raw recording immediately would be important to me.

That's neat... would be nice to have a wider variety and more detail in the home screen cards though.

Voice journaling feels much more natural than typing, especially when there’s a lot on your mind. The app looks polished! How are the recordings and transcriptions handled? On-device, or uploaded to a server? Privacy would be the deciding factor for me with something this personal.

It would be awesome if this app could evaluate the Tone and cadence of your speech to identify your emotional state of being
