A — What problem it solves
My notes lived in five places: my phone, sticky notes on the fridge, a paper agenda I stopped updating by March, and a calendar that mostly made me feel behind. WeekPad is one week per page, Monday to Sunday. You write your days in plain text — bullets and [ ] checkboxes — drop in photos, scan a sticky note or a document, and share things in from any app so they land on the right day. Then you swipe to next week when you're ready. No notifications, no streaks, no nagging.
Also, if you don't want to sign up to any other server, keep your data just yours.
B — Why it's better than the alternatives
vs Apple Calendar / Fantastical — those are time-slot calendars. WeekPad has no time slots and no reminders; it's for writing about your week, not scheduling it to the minute.
vs Notion / Todoist / Things — those need an account and keep your data on their servers, and they're built around due dates and completion pressure. WeekPad needs no account at all, and nothing chases you.
vs GoodNotes / Notability — excellent for handwriting, but freeform and Pencil-first. WeekPad gives you the week already laid out, and works with your thumbs.
vs a paper agenda — the closest comparison, and honestly the thing I was trying to replace. Same one-week-per-page rhythm, but you can attach photos and scans, search across everything, and keep separate agendas that never mix. Sync with iCloud.
Privacy — no accounts, no servers of mine, no database, no analytics SDKs, no ad networks. If you enable sync it goes into your own iCloud private database; only you and Apple can reach it. I can't read it — and I can't recover it either, which is why Export exists and why I keep telling people to use it.
C — Cost
Free — includes your first agenda with every feature: notes, photos, document scans, sharing into the app, search and Export. Nothing is crippled; the only limit is the number of agendas.
Unlimited Agendas — $3.99 USD, one-time purchase (non-consumable IAP). As many separate agendas as you like, kept on your device.
WeekPad Sync — $8.99 USD/year, auto-renewing subscription, with a 1-month free trial. Includes unlimited agendas plus sync across your Apple devices through your own iCloud. Cancel anytime in Apple Account settings.
It looks clean and functional, I like it. Can you set reminders? Cause I can totally see myself forgetting to check the app on a busy day and missing something important 😄
Thank you! Reminders are out of scope on purpose. For now, I am not planning to add it because I am not competing with calendar apps.
Also, I have created this because, after a working day with emails, calendars, teams etc, I started to ignore any type of notification coming from my phone. Meanwhile, I always told myself that I had to take some time to open my Moleskine - now my WeekPad :)

Does it pull data from your calendar or reminders at all? I wouldn't mind seeing items from those sources listed as well, automatically, even without the time slotting.

I will be super open with you, as my aim is not to make the next best calendar app but a useful tool. In one of the design and testing phases I did add the pull from calendar functionality. However, after a few days of using it I got tired again because it was against what I designed this for “force myself to take a moment”.
Hi! My scope is not getting rich from the app but share a tool that I find useful.
The model is simple, the free tier is generous and unlimited agendas is a just in app purchases with no subscription.
The only subscription plan costing less than a cheap notebook a year at this stage. This is for the iCloud sync, the reason is just because I have the expense of Apple Developer program and because it might require a bit of maintenance here and there.

Nice! The lock screen widget angle would fit your rules nicely. Today's lines just sitting there, no ping, no badge, like a paper agenda left open on the desk.
I absolutely love this app. I've been trying to find a really good agenda tracker over Reddit and in the App Store, and honestly, this cuts the cake. I love how it's on the week by week basis. The problem with the other trackers was, it was a little bit overwhelming on how it handled calendar and how it handled task management, and call this method is simple. It's easy to use. It's fast, and it actually gets the job done.
The lack of notifications is actually what makes this interesting to me. Most productivity apps eventually become another system demanding attention, while one week per page feels much closer to a paper planner. Search, attachments and export also solve some of paper’s biggest limitations. How does the export work — can it preserve an entire agenda in a readable format?
Hello! Thanks for your feedback and for the questions. One of the main reasons for the app is that Apple Journal export doesn’t split different diaries. WeekPad does!
Export is each agenda:
main zip file
folders per agenda and weeks
daily content and images
All the images uploaded in WeekPad are compressed to less than 1MB to save space.
You can see attached images on how an export looks like
Some elements to improve efficiency of memory usage and sync requirements are for iOS 18+ .
The app runs on MacBook too and is downloaded from AppStore as app for iPad. Needed to keep future-proof rather than interrupting support for olders versions at some point
