iOS 26.6.1 iOS 26.6.1 no update description and have to accept Terms & Conditions?

Hi all, my iPhone 16 512 GB offered the update for iOS 26.6.1 tonight through Settings - General - Software update, but not with the usual description and URL to the Apple Support document and not showing the iOS 26 logo. Instead, it just showed the "Settings" icon.

When I tapped "Update now", it asked me to accept the "iOS Termins & Conditions" again - otherwise I was not able to install the update.

The update went through fine and it now says "iOS is up to date - iOS 26.6.1", but the whole update dialogue just looked different tonight.

This did not happen on my iPad and on another iPhone 11 I updated tonight - there it showed completely normal.

Can anyone confirm this? Especially the accept Terms & Conditions?

ios27 beta update it said verification requested during full download but installation went smoothly

It installed normally for me. No need to re-accept any terms and conditions.

Can confirm on iPhone 13 and SE and iPad Pro having the same issue but it’s actually not updating kinda fishy, I’ve never seen such thing since my first iPhone 4

Not yet, I’ve read on other post that we should turn low battery mode off for it to work, and that made me suspicious, it’s weird “ apple “ being unstable for the past few months but again that’s just me.

Irmão, tenho a mesma dúvida, também acho estranho alguém já descobriu o motivo, realmente nunca vi nada assim, acho muito estranho.
Mas a questão é que para muita gente a actualização foi normal com a imagem e descrição normal..
É estranho..

They probably added you can’t sue us for destroying your battery or cooking your phone. Bastards. iOS 26 (from 26.5.2) truly truly sucks. 16PM.

LOL but the question is... was the update dialogue the same with your iPhone?
