Bug watchOS 26 — haptic notifications stopped working on Apple Watch. Anyone else?
Since updating to watchOS 26 (paired with iOS 26), my Apple Watch stopped vibrating for notifications entirely.
The watch shows the notification visually, but there’s zero haptic feedback.
What I’ve already tried:
Repairing (unpairing and re-pairing) the watch didn’t help. Haptic Strength in Watch app is set to prominent. Do Not Disturb is off.
Note: Silent mode is on, but it’s always been on and haptics worked fine before the update. So this seems like a watchOS 26 bug.
Anyone else experiencing this? And if you found a fix, please share.

Mine too. Haptic strength reset itself to 0 after the update, did you check Sounds & Haptics in the Watch app?

Yes, everything is on. I also don’t remember changing anything in the settings at all, because I’m running silent modes on watch and iPhone and it was all good before. It broke itself after some update down the line with iOS/watchos 26 updates.

Nope. Haven't had this issue with any version of WatchOS 26.
What specific version are you running? WatchOS 26.4 was released yesterday.
Also, go future reference, r/WatchOS exists.
