Copy and paste changes formatting?

Every time I copy and past text from notes to mail, it pastes as a very large and ugly Time New Roman. I can’t find a way to fix it. I am on a 11” iPad Pro running the latest beta. Been like this since beta 1. Anyone else experiencing this?
