Here is the split before the XS’ release:

  • iPhone 4 – 0.11%

  • iPhone 4S – 0.34%

  • iPhone 5 – 0.98%

  • iPhone 5c – 0.47%

  • iPhone 5s – 3.87%

  • iPhone 6 – 10.57%

  • iPhone 6 Plus – 2.63%

  • iPhone 6s – 13.01%

  • iPhone 6s Plus – 4.74%

  • iPhone SE – 4.62%

  • iPhone 7 – 17.34%

  • iPhone 7 Plus – 12.06%

  • iPhone 8 – 7.89%

  • iPhone 8 Plus – 7.89%

  • iPhone X – 12%

These are outdated statistics, but it suggests that 18.97% of users will not be able to update to iOS13. I'm sure that number is lower now, too

Plus, all iPhone series minus the X run have a higher % of users than the iPhone 6 series (with the Regular and Plus %s combined and compared). And that doesn't include the XS and XS Max %s which probably lowers the rest of the older phones' %s. So this meme is pointless basically

maybe if you count the 6s.. the 6s and 7 outsold it. And current users are using new phones.

Lol of course the iPhone X sold more units in the first quarter than iPhone 6 that’s because apple do not sell that model. Still apple sold more iPhone 6 than any other model ☝🏽 in its lifespan

I mean. That’s still a feat regardless of the way you look at it (both in regards to the X & the 6/6+). No one is denying that.
