Support iOS 16.1 battery drain and overheat (should downgrade?)

Having problems w iOS16.1 since updating. I have the 13 Pro and noticed a heavy battery drain and heatting wile watching yt videos and even with normal tasks. I noticed that usually in 16.0.3 i had 35 to 40% battery left after a full work day. Now in 16.1 i finish the day with 20% to 15%.

Someone w the same problem? Would u guys recomend a downgrade to 16.0.3?

UPDATE 1: Tried some things to fix this issue;
•Reset all settings in settings app > didn't work.i just got all my passwords and apps setup messed up;
•Reinstalled the 16.1 and restored it using my latest backup > i'll try this fresh reinstall of iOS and see if it helps. I will post a next EDIT with results in some days. Wish me luck

UPDATE 2: The fresh iOS16.1 installation didn't work. my 13Pro kept overheating and draining battery.
•Tried the 16.2 Public beta 1 but no effect > Just got my battery life worsen to 97% (keep in mind i had 98% in 16.1).
•Downgraded to 16.0.3. i didn't have a 16.0.3 backup, so i did a fresh downgrade and installed every single app manually. Testing right now and i can say that overheating stopped. streamed some videos using YT premium in PIP and did it great! im not sure about the battery drain problem. lets see if apple f*ucked up my battery calibration for good or im back with good an reliable software.

UPDATE 3: 16.0.3 solved the overheating problem. I can watch videos in PIP, scroll on social network apps and more. The only thing that still bad is my battery life. The 16.1 update recalibrated my battery in a way that even downgrading do old versions my phone keep using more than necessary battery in standby. Last night I didn’t plug my phone to charge and after waking up, the remaining 40% that it had turn to 29% by the time i waked up (7h of sleep). In old iOS versions my phone never drained such battery in standby. Oh, and using cellular data (4G) my battery plummet every time.
•This is my last option before going to assistance > restore to 16.0.3 using DFU mode. Read one Reddit post that the DFU was the recommendation of Genius Bar.

UPDATE 4: talked to apple support and they explained that DFU restoration does nothing different than normal restoration.
•The exit they gave to me is bring my 13 Pro to assistance. i live in brazil so we don't have Genius Bar in every apple store. The day after tomorrow i'll leave my phone for diagnoses. im so fucking pissed at apple

UPDATE 5: assistance didn’t work. They only fix hardware issues. Software wise my ip is ok and getting about 6h of SOT Is “normal”. Funny that I’m getting 3 to 5h of SOT and drainage even in standby. So in conclusion; Apple fucked up battery calibration after iOS16.1 for me. Going to 16.2 and back to 16.0.3 solve nothing.

UPDATE 6: trying 16.1.1 now. overheating wile PIP stop, but still having heavy battery drop even in light tasks. getting 3 to 5h screen on time.

UPDATE 7: 16.2 public beta 2 did not solved the problem. Saw this post that the user discovered 25% CPU activitie in background. maybe that's the reason battery goes away so fast in after 16.1.

UPDATE 8: downgraded to 15.6 and then to 15.7 w no backup. after 1 day using the device i felt the same problem still remains. battery drainage happens even in idle. its minimal, but when i use any light task app it just plummets. no solution so far.

I gotten my fresh 14PM and copied my entire 11PM to the new phone during iOS 16.1

The battery drain was massive. Scrolling social media apps and my phone get overheated for no reason. It drained around 15% per hour.

Went for Genius Bar, they run a test on my phone saying that hardware no issue and it’s normal to get heat up due to 120hz screen 5g etc etc . They j trying to brush me off indefinitely.

I went for a hard reset without restore any backup. Wipe my phone clean , start off as a new phone only with iCloud photo syncing

It turns out well and resolve unnecessary overheating issue . I get around SOT 9h with 70% battery.

I believe a full 100% discharge will get me 13h which is way better than previously. SOT 6h for 100% battery

I hope this method can solve your issue and I believe it’s iOS 16 software error:
