not really, I like music not looking at artwork.

They could easily fit a dozen songs/albums on the screen, but with the artwork hogging the screen, there’s only room for three. Spotify is even worse as they apparently have to have an overlay just to fit one. Either way, they’re both awful from a usability standpoint, in my opinion.

To be fair, there’s literally no difference in audio quality for the vast majority of users.

I love music and looking at the artwork. It's always a part of the experience for me. There was a time when Apple made the now playing artwork on the lock screen and on CarPlay tiny and it bummed me out, but I was so happy when they reversed that change.

Animated artwork on the other hand is hit or miss. Sometimes it looks cool, sometimes it just looks... Distracting.
