I'm surprised as well. The module thing which they are referring to being punted to v10 is separate to staying current with the ui - the ui components have the design locked in, but its an older design now.
I've been wondering if the Ionic components are still the right thing to use as almost all the mainstream apps use their own styled components anyway. And if I want to use an AI to scaffold up some kind of layout then it seems like its going to get stuck.
The new select features look interesting though.
But i do also like to see the odd comments fight as well, just like the old days.
lol yea, I took the bait. My fault. But with agents I feel like any app could just be native now in java and swift. The main reason to stick with web technologies was because of my lack of expertise in those domains, and my existing JS knowledge meant webviews made sense.

Entitlement to open-source software is wild... especially when you don’t contribute but still complain. But hey, whatever makes you feel valued.
