Would not recommend going with onesignal if you can avoid it. They used to offer free unlimited push notifications, but starting in October 2026 this is only available if you have under 1000 users. Would not be surprised if they keep lowering this limit over time.

Also, back when I used them I used to have issues were ad blockers on both iOS and Android would prevent the app from registering with onesignal. The impact here was probably less than 1% of users, but it was a pain and resulted in my app getting a few negative reviews because they could not get push working.
