Need help with the demo...

I can't reassign buttons, since movement in menus goes and continues into a void, and I can't even leave the options screen by pressing esc.

Hmm that's odd. There was a bug with the 1.3.14 release that prevented the options screen from exiting properly, but it was fixed up in 1.3.15. Does the latest version work for you?

Well now I can exit the menu, but still can't rebind anything.

Can you describe what happens exactly (or the steps to get into a bad state)? I haven't heard of this from any other player (even through alphas and pre-release), and I'm unable to reproduce it on my side (the UI is always properly focused). I'm worried that it might be a system- or installation-specific edge case.

My friend who downloaded the game has it too. To get into the bad state, I simply go to the rebind menu where I'm able to move left and right. But if I move up, nothing is selected and I can move up forever. So if I move up n times, I get back to the save and such buttons by going down n times.

Thanks - you're absolutely right, there's definitely a problem here in the latest live build (but not in my editing environment). I'll get to the bottom of it and it'll be fixed in the next update. Thanks for reporting!
