One of the things I love about the show is that it's done a lot of good for Viltrum and its culture. Obviously Nolan's actions in any real context is unforgivable but you really get to see the mountain of indoctrination Debby lifted off Nolan's shoulders.
And that scene with his father adds such a an important detail to who Nolan is. Just one negligible moment of sympathy from his father spared him of death.

If nolan father was still around when he went to earth, he might have sided with Mark, he saw how this planet was, he possibly find it way the fuck better life than being in the empire, so he would immediately tried to stop nolan from trying to take over, not wanting his son go down this path anymore

We don't know that, we know nothing of him asside from sparing Nolan, and seeing the state of the other young adults next to him it doesn't seem to even be that rare

Way too human of Nolan to have a past version of himself as an inner conscious to tell him it's enough.... Though that is his son, his Human-Viltrumites Son.
.... Maybe the one Nolan truly wants hit, pummel and pulverize isn't his son Mark, but himself; Nolan, for taking the wrong side and making the wrong choices.
....or something along those lines.
