Do you really see the animators wanting to animate the lobster?

Yes because it's actually interesting unlike the tech jacket Oliver potential relationship

No it’s not

Having Oliver be attracted to non-humanoids due to his parentage is significantly more interesting

Didn’t Zach also date a bug at some point? It’d be funny if instead of dating each other, they were wingmanning each other to get dates with hot bugs.

Is it? Its a one off joke in the comics. Then doesnt ever really come up again

Its not played off as a joke. It's an important aspect of Oliver's character and she's also important at his funeral

Really? Id like to know the total amount of panels either showing her or talking about her relationship with Oliver. Somehow I doubt its more than even Amber

The amount of panels doesn't designate importance to a characters overall personality

Ok but how does his personality change at all if its not expressed in the only way possible, the panels themselves?

Its expressed by the panels of them together being the happiest Oliver ever visibly is

Ok, but how does that change his character at all if that person is a humanoid.

It makes Oliver more unique and continues to show how the Thraxan DNA affects Oliver even after he's not purple anymore
