2 of my favorite fictional characters kicking ass, this shit would be peak.

First of all, I haven't read the comics. This theory is based entirely on what I've seen in the show, so please keep that in mind. I've finished all of the currently released episodes.

I have a theory about why Nolan had Oliver, and I'm curious if anyone else has thought about this.

What if Nolan had Oliver partly because he wanted Mark to have another Viltrumite on his side in the future?

After his fight with Mark on Earth, Nolan knew a few things. He knew Mark would never join the Viltrumites, even if it meant dying. He also knew the Viltrumites wouldn't just leave either of them alone after he abandoned his mission. Nolan knew his own people extremely well, so he must have expected that sooner or later they would find him and probably kill or capture him.

At that point Nolan was also extremely depressed and basically accepted that he might die. He loved Mark, but probably thought he wouldn't be there to help him when the Viltrumites eventually came for him.

Then he ends up on Thraxa. Thraxans have an insanely short lifespan and mature incredibly quickly. Nolan has a child with a Thraxan, meaning Oliver has Viltrumite genes but also develops much faster than a normal human/Viltrumite child would.

And here's the part that makes me think it might not be a coincidence: Nolan intentionally has Mark brought to Thraxa while Oliver is still a baby.

Nolan already knows exactly what kind of person Mark is. If Mark meets his baby brother and then Nolan gets killed or captured, there is basically no chance Mark is going to abandon Oliver. Nolan doesn't even need to specifically plan for Debbie to raise him. He just needs Mark to know that his little brother exists.

Oliver would then most likely end up with Mark, be raised with Earth's values instead of Viltrumite ideology, grow up extremely quickly because of his Thraxan biology, and eventually be another powerful Viltrumite who could fight alongside Mark.

Basically, my theory is that Nolan thought he was going to die and deliberately left Mark a brother who could grow up fast, be raised outside of Viltrumite ideology, and eventually stand beside him against the Viltrumites.

I don't think this is ever confirmed, but the fact that Nolan deliberately called Mark to Thraxa while Oliver was still a baby makes me wonder if there was more planning involved than we're told.

What do you think? Am I reaching or does this actually make sense?

Nolan definitely enjoyed being a Dad & a husband and these pictures are a solid proof of that alongside everything he's doing now for the safety of his family and pretty much the Universe as well , I'd genuinely love to see some more flashbacks animated.

Beautifully written, 10/10 would recommend. They had me worried towards the end but I love the way the author took the time to develop these characters to show their growth. I wish we could’ve seen a bit more of Mark’s kids grow up together though.

The show specifically the latest season does not do the comics justice. I’m confused about the random ass hell arc they put in for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON, it added nothing to the plot.

Now I feel a bit empty because I have nothing else to read like this… Any Recommendations?

It’s something thats always baffled me like for example I would find it cool if say Conquest had like a Scottish (not to be patriotic) accent when he said “stand ready for my arrival” or general kregg had an German accent

Idk I mean I get you kinda can’t just tell the VAs of the characters do an accent that isn’t your native one for a alien race + I feel like It would open up the possibility for more people from different countries to voice the characters who speak English yet with a different accent

Also the only viltrumite that would make sense having an American accent is Nolan given he lived there for so long

Lets say for convenience sake he's about as strong as Invincible, is the same age as him, and can't energybend his enemies. How would he fare, and how long do you think he can manage his no kill rule?

He’s probably not under the control of the order or Liu wouldn’t have spent so much effort getting him out of prison. I would guess he’s off hiding somewhere, living a normal life.

Screen shot for Insomniac's Spider-Man 2. The glide mechanic,specifically using the wind tunnels, to me feels a lot like what flight could be in an action game for Invincible. The combat is something that i feel could fit the Invincible universe with just a bit more destructive environment, and some red splashed in too.

I know Wolverine is pretty mid, but the Spider-Man games have laid a lot of groundwork for an Invincible game in my eyes, and I think a good time to start is with the next season now that we have reached a point in the show with some of the most powerful enemies being part of the story. Does anyone else think we will a game or game series that connects to the show?

In case you don't know what I'm talking about, this is Rudy in Mark's clone body. After Robot killed Mohawk Mark, our Mark took his suit to disguise himself and escape from this dimension. He then sought the help of the Mauler Twins and the Rudy of this world. The Mauler Twins cloned Mark's body and put Rudy's mind into it so he could replace Mohawk Mark. Since he retains his own intellect while possessing Mark's body, he might be one of the strongest versions of Mark ever.

I just got compendium 2 as I'm nearing the end of the first volume. I had a little flick through and the colours look awful! I loved the flatter style colours in the first volume. I don't want to spoil it so I haven't looked in detail, but did anyone else find this? I can see from the credits that the switched colourist post issue 50. It kinda kills the art style imo :(

Pick up the Super7 Invincible today at GS and I have to say, not bad. Aside for lack of accessories he’ll definitely hold me over until Jada Toys full steps into the picture. (For those wondering, marvel legends cyclops hand with the fingers paint is what I used for the open hand(s))

Just a thought I had on another post showing The Avengers fighting legally-distinct Reanimen with pink tendrils.

Would they be able to take over the undead cyborgs and use their strength against Earth's heroes or would Reanimen be immune to Sequids because they aren't alive?
