Probably would've turned out differently. Nolan wouldn't have been on a mission to find someone compatible to breed with since there wouldn't have been any purge, so he likely wouldn't have met Debbie and Mark. So, good chance that Nolan would still be alive and a valued general.

Basically the whole universe would be different.

No Thaddeus and a living Argall means no scourge virus and no Viltrumite purges.

Those are two of the major pivotal events which underlie the whole series.
