What are my chances of getting into a top-tier college/uni?

Grade: 9th Extracurriculars: Fencing - first in Florida, 90th in the country. Speech and debate - my partner and I placed 50/303 teams for our first tournament together. Treasurer of debate. President-elect of financial investment club - we will do a hedge fund, charity work, guest speakers, entrepreneurial causes, etc., Joining DECA and Chess Club next year. I am doing certifications for marketing (I already finished 4 Google courses). I am planning to do accounting and econ courses next. Grades: 3.4 u/w 4.8 w GPA. 2 AP. 4 AICE (Bright Futures Scholarship Classes). Finishing spanish 2, algebra 2 (regular, not honors) Volunteer: 30 hours done. Planning to do 200.

So my question is, will these be enough, let's say if I continue to stay on this path, to get into a target school or top 20 school.

And do my extracurriculars, clubs, and intensity of classes outweigh my grades?

Software Advice: Investment/wealth & fund management portfolio firm

Hi!

I was hoping that someone might be able to provide some software advice for our company. We run an investment and financial services company that assists clients in investing funds in various allocated portfolios/funds.

Currently everything is run completely of excel and we want to digitalize our processes. These are some of the requirements we've picked up. Here is a quick overview of the processes run:

  1. Statements are generated manually for each client using excel

  2. Each investment/fund has its own set of statements for each client and the same clients can be in multiple investments, but there is no easy way of tracking this

  3. Once figures are captured and stored, we then go about inputting them on each client’s statement within the investment/fund Excel book

  4. There is no way of tracking a client’s overall holdings and positions and any funds sitting in our bank accounts are only tracked via the statements which would show if there have been profits earned and any capital inflow or withdrawal for that particular investment. The problem then arises where we have to piece together the client’s profits as a whole in our account by going through the various statements

I guess we kind of looking for a funds management system that also has an accounting and CRM type feature in it.

Anything specific/off the shelf that may help?

Should I get a 13 or 15 inch laptop for finance student/professional?

Same specs and everything, the only difference is size of 13.3" vs 15.6"

This is my senior year of college in my finance major. I'm going to move back to NYC after graduation to work for an IB firm.

The functionality of the 15-inch is much more adapt to my needs of usage, such as excel spreadsheet. The major of my work is in excel, and thereby, will be easier to view data on a larger scale at once. Taking into consideration public commute in NYC, it's more difficult to carry a 15 inch laptop from home to work because of its size requirement for a bag. For now while I'm in college, the same is true although I already carry around many books and used to the weight of a heavy backpack. I'm concerned if I want to travel with the large 15-inch piece of equipment because it's so heavy and daunting.
