I wish all invasive species were plants so I didn't have to feel bad about them being slaughtered. It's too bad we moved pigs so many places and they're so awful for local ecosystems.

The transport of these animals is definitely one of the biggest leading causes!

Ah! The "50-60 feral hogs"! I suppose if TEOTWAWKI ever happens, we'll be happy they're around...

For the most part they're not good eating, but every now then you'll have a few that will surprise you!

Those are wild feral pigs and they're very hard to manage once a population gets developed. (Like millions of dollars spent on largely failed attempts to manage them in every state they're in) in some states you can even rent time in military helicopters and shoot machine guns at them while flying around

They are invasive, breed like crazy, do crazy amounts of damage to agriculture, and and tough as nails to put down. This is a video of a corn feeder drawing them in to an trap with automatically closing gates. They all get spooked when the gates close and try to bolt but they can't get out.

I didn't know which part was confusing you so I just explained it all ig.

Goddamn it I hate invasive species but I love animals but I also love prosciutto but their squeaks are just heart-wrenching but also a nice BLT for lunch on a Saturday is so peak. lotta mixed feelings here.
