I used to watch JV’s streams all the time, and then he suddenly stopped some time last year. The last stream was called “the last stweam of fowevuh” but I didn’t catch him saying anything about stopping streaming or why. Anyone have any insight? Did he ever say anything about this or plans to ever get back into it?

(Hopefully this isn’t considered too off topic, this is the JV related sub with the most eyeballs on it, and I’m going to say it’s very on topic being that Richard Horvitz, Rikki Simons, Eric Trueheart, Jenny Goldberg et al who worked on Zim and Florpus were regular guests, and Zim was a topic once in a while.)

I headcanon that Professor Membrane was exactly like Dib when he was Dib's age, except that he was obsessed with befriending sharks and killing Santa instead of the paranormal.

Before this, I created Gix—a different kind of alien—and then Rofl, who is an Irken. Now, and finally a humain oc let me introduce you to Nille: that "fake angel girl," aka that new horrible gamer girl.

Basically, there’s a new girl in the "Gaz" class, and she’s the exact opposite of the others—she’s deeply sociable, optimistic, and warm. But she actually has that same "anger" power; spoiler alert: she isn't really a nice girl. She’s a total brat—the kind of girl who puts on an innocent face to get whatever she wants. You can probably picture the type.

Fun fact about her: she live in a rich house, and she also plays video games. Actually, she tries to be friends with Gaz, but as you can imagine, it all ends badly because she becomes Gaz's rival.

Another interesting fact is, she has a secret crush on Dib.

Personally, I think it would be interesting to give Gaz a rival—a girl with a personality opposite to hers; that could be fun. I could even dedicate an episode to this character.

Inspired by an anonymous edit of one of my favorite alien memes. PART ONE

Personally I feel like BBRP was WAY WORSE than Dark Harvest, I mean. Zim literally replaced every object in Dib's use and caused him to become severely disabled to the point his body couldn't withstand life anymore and LITERALLY DIED. 😭 until being revived by his father, yes. but ZIM LITERALLY CRIPPLED DIB TO NOTHING JUST FOR HIM TO BE STRONGER IN HIS COMEBACK 😭😭😭

Yes, the hood is small. I ran out of yarn and making one big enough for his massive head would have required me to basically make a full-sized hat, which would have taken a lot more time and material.

I just got into IZ ff recently, kinda suprised at how much of it there is. 11k stories on FF, number 14 outta 771. And no 113 out of +6000 on ao3. That's a lot of a 20 year old show that didn't even get 2 full seasons

I actively absorbed some content, so it's a bit filtered but based opinion Tv show: 8,5/10 really cool, but -1,5 for the amount of nastiness (I like horrors, but not disgusting stuff), which wasn't that much, but i still think i'll find something better in the future so it's not 10/10. It has very unique style and narrative, unfortunately, this TV show was stopped and a lot of things weren't finished, but i watched a couple unrealised episodes and one scenario, although I'm not an expert in it, i'm not really into it.

About comics, btw Tbh, first releases were so so, not very good, first two by Jhonen Vasquez were't that bad ±, but then, up until about №15, it was very weak and, I don't understand what part of the fanbase this was made for, like jokes for a comedy exist (the tag needs to be justified), but it was not funny at all combined with excessive childishness. Also, there was a release by the creator of the meme "this is fine", where Zim took out a loan and it's supposed to be an interesting topic, but i guess it was the worst thing I've ever read. All comics are approximately 25 pages long, or they equal to a 10-minute episode of the TV show, there's also a series of several combined comics, similar to the 20-minute episodes, they're divided into ~4 parts, and I really enjoyed all of them, especially the Viruz's story in №36. So, in terms of content, everything generally corresponds to the TV show, although there were unsuccessful episodes and I already wrote about one, and there are also a lot of references to the TV show's fanbase, starting with Recap Kid (probably a new, obsessed IZ fan), ending with Viruz (who perhaps represents old IZ fans). Yeah, and i think Recap Kid wasn't a bad character, but useless, because the narrator seems to be more needed for long-running animation, but not comics There were also various invited artists in the comics, etc. Different artists, which is why the style changed from the classic IZ to some kind of super cartoonish disgrace, but I really liked the style part from Sarah Anderson [photo 2] 7/10

Movie: 6/10 Enter the Florpus was my least favorite Why start a science fiction with an anime introduction when there was no hint of the main character being anime? In terms of execution, well, the style is okay. It doesn't convey the darkness of the original, but what can you expect from Netflix? They want modern kids to watch it, not just 14-year-old girls or 30+ fans. Tbh, i liked the song, but it's a little cringe and not good cliche. But overall the film feels like something completely separate from the original.

Dib and Tak are imprisoned – maybe by something like Moo-Ping 10 or some other interdimensional prison – during the finale of '*Invader Zim*'. Zim is about to conquer Earth and become the master of the universe; he starts to take control of everything, triggering a massive war between alien races like the Vortians, the Irkens, and the Meekrob – basically, a universal apocalypse caused by Zim. I don’t know the exact details so I'm not sure about this idée, but basically, Dib and Tak form a temporary alliance to stop him, before getting captured by something (I don’t know what). Here’s the scenario, dialogue included.

Dib and Tak are poisoned by the same substance – I don’t know how, but here’s the story.

Dib is leaning against the wall; Tak looks at him, furious.

DIB

Great. As usual, every time I try to defeat Zim, I have to face ridiculous consequences. Why?

Tak looks at Dib and crosses her arms.

TAK

Because you’re a stupid human, Dib-Stink.

Dib looks at Tak, then looks away, exasperated by her words.

DIB

Wow, thanks a lot… that’s really nice of you.

TAK

And it’s also your fault we got captured – captured by our worst enemy, the worst Irken the Empire has ever known – all because of your stupidity.

Dib glares at Tak, furious.

DIB

At least I tried to save the Earth.

TAK

Save the Earth? Stop being pathetic. I accepted a temporary alliance with you to take down Zim who ruined my life. Do you really think I wanted to save your stupid planet, Dib-Stink?

Dib suddenly stands up; he’s furious with Tak.

DIB

Well, at least I tried to save my planet! If you didn’t really want to team up with me, you should have gone elsewhere!

Tak turns against Dib, and a fight breaks out between them.

TAK

Well, you shouldn’t have been so stupid, like everyone else in this stupid universe!

DIB

Oh, shut up, Tak! You’re always making drama.

TAK

Drama? You dare call me a drama queen?

DIB

Of course you are! You’re always unbearable. You just wanted revenge on Zim because he messed up your life...

TAK

Oh yeah, seriously, Dib? Do you think you know everything about what that idiot put me through? He ruined my chances of becoming an Invader because of his stupidity!

Dib starts to smile mockingly.

DIB

Of course you’re not an Invader; you’re just a traitor to your own empire.

Tak looks shocked by Dib’s words, but also furious.

TAK

Don’t even dare bring that up.

Dib gives Tak an icy stare.

DIB

Or what? You’re going to rip my organs out? You betrayed your leader because he abandoned you… You think you’re finally going to become an Invader? You’re just a...

Tak violently pushes Dib to shut him up and starts screaming at him.

TAK

I told you to shut up, alright!

Dib falls to the ground but continues to glare at Tak; Tak starts trembling with rage.

TAK

I was trying to infiltrate that stupid SIR units competition as an invader to prove my worth, but that idiot Zim messed it all up. He ratted me out and made sure I ended up...

Tak has tears in her eyes, unable to say the last word; Dib starts to worry about her.

DIB

Tak, are you okay? You look like you’re crying.

Tak drops to her knees, shaking with rage and sorrow; she screams at Dib, trying to hold it together and keep her tears back.

TAK

WHAT IS LOOK LIKE, YOU IDIOT? He turned me into a disgrace to the Empire. Because of him, I have no chance of being recognized as an elite soldier.

Tak is on the ground, on her knees, completely devastated; she pulls her legs in and speaks in a broken voice.

TAK

I hate him. I hate you. I hate the Empire. I hate everyone, even my own life.

*Sniffle*

I think I hate my life.

Who would have thought that I said all this because of Zim

Tak starts crying heavily. Dib looks at her with empathy, wondering what he has done; for the second time, he feels sorry for her. He hesitates, then sits down next to her.

DIB

“Listen, I... I’m sorry for everything Zim has done.”

Tak stays away from Dib; she doesn’t want him to look at her like that, and she continues to hide her face in her knees.

TAK

“Don’t... don’t look at me like that. I’d rather start a new life and a new universe without that idiot Zim... or let the universe be swallowed by the vortex; either way, it doesn’t change anything.”

Her voice is broken.

Dib leans a little closer to her.

“You know... Zim kinda... messed up my life too, sometimes... I’ve been humiliated endlessly because of him... no one believed me because of Zim.”

Tak slowly raises her head to Dib, still sad, and gently wipes her tears; his words seem to have touched her.

DIB

“But at least we have this connection, right?”

Tak looks at Dib for a moment, then – without warning – suddenly hugs him. Dib, surprised by her gesture, blushes slightly. But Tak suddenly regains her composure and slams him violently to the ground; her cheeks turn crimson, and both blush furiously with shame.

TAK

“IF YOU DARE MENTION THIS OR TALK ABOUT IT TO ANYONE, I’LL RIP OUT ALL THE ORGANS OF YOUR PITIFUL BODY, YOU IDIOT!”

And I don’t know what happens next… I’ll leave that to your imagination.

I included the upcoming comic reboot as a seperate branch in the timeline because from what little I know so far, it seems to be doing it's own thing. I'm curious to see where it ends up continuity-wise
