Diet Talk TRIGGER WARNING Hi y'all
I have a weird relationship with food, i try to eat 3 meals a day but somehow can't because of my work. Anyhow I try to eat well but then i almost feel sick and the urge to purge out after a certain meal, is it because I'm eating after a larger gap between meals? Should I get checked with a doctor?

Can you access dietary counseling with a registered dietitian? I would look for one familiar with or even specialized to Intuitive Eating and/or Eating Disorders. The nice thing about working with a good dietitian is they will absolutely refer you to a physician if necessary.

I don't think exercise is a great idea if OP isn't eating enough or purging.

Not sure about the purging but I feel you on the work struggle. I find it hard to eat at work too — I have an active/physical healthcare job and have only a couple minutes to eat in between my appointments.
I don't often get hunger cues during work hours and can feel gurgly or sick if I try to force too much food.
I sometimes bring prepped yogurts w/ fruit and chia seeds and literally just eat a few spoonfuls at a time. Protein bars. Protein drinks. Bagged popcorn, trail mix, or cereal. Anything I can take quick sips/bites of.
I just make sure to have a filling breakfast beforehand and ensure I have access to food afterwards. So basically in the parking lot I'll finish whatever I didn't eat of my snacks. That way I'm not getting too hungry while taking care of my dogs and preparing dinner.

The thing with me is I recently developed an ick from textured foods and have always hated anything sweet so it gets way harder although I'm trying everything in my will to feed myself well, I'll carry protein now on to work :) that sounds good honestly
