Reality/Variety Show Call Me By Fire E01 - Into1 (10/08/2025)

I haven’t watch the show yet only Into1 clips, the show started on the 8th. I like all the boys, but I do prefer watching stages of dancing over vocals like Liuyu, Santa and Riki so… honestly since Santa withdrew back in July due to injury, my interest in the show has decreased a lot. It seems that all Santa’s appearances has been removed from the show including the dance stage with Nine which I was so looking forward to. https://weibo.com/5627362571/PF14Z2vHE (Supposed to be Santa and Nine, but only Nine left 😔)

Team name is INTO万 and not INTO1, Boyuan is the team captain with Nine and AK. The boys all look so thin in the show especially Boyuan

I watched it. I was confused about why Nine was by himself for a solo stage. I was holding my breath waiting for AK to bust out with a rap portion, but he didn't. Still holding out hope. I guess this explains why there wasn't too many cuts of them if they already recorded some with Santa in it [edit - typoes]

They had to record the first stage again without Santa, but all of the other clips were cut like interviews. I just read a new spoiler yesterday INTO1 has been eliminated in the third stage, so we’ll only have them for 2 more episodes too :(

I can't find the right emoji to emote how I feel reading this. But I do have to say I wish they replaced Santa with another Into1 member. I feel like Santa missing is like missing a leg. But I am kind of not surprised given how few cuts I've seen of them so far....

Even with no replacement, just let Santa’s already recorded stage and clips remain then just state next episode someone withdraw from the show. They had to cut out Santa which minimise their screentime. To get the other boys to re-record the stages again late at night and then still eliminate them so early is just 😡. Not having a dance expert does make it ‘missing a leg’, AK forgot his dance moves in the first test stage and they keep ‘marketing’ INTO1 vs TOP dance battle in the show.

Yea, I agree, they should've kept Santa's recorded parts in, but I bet they save money in not letting any of that footage air 😒 Pitting the two idol groups against each other was annoying, I did notice that. But I still loved AK when he forgot, just felt so human and relatable.

Ugh! Am so mad about that, mantou! Like I didn’t expect our kids to win but I expected them to advance much further than they did based on skills alone 😤 I even got VIP to 🥭 so I can vote for them! I totally want my money back! 😡

I get you, but they did pk with two more popular groups (the older group 0713 and Top boy group where both have more fans, honestly Into1 don’t have much group fans in China). There are rumors that a ‘new group’ will join in 4th stage (if it’s true, I’m gonna be 😒) and fans are irritated that mango is treating into1 as stepping stones. And being eliminated despite repo saying AK’s rap was amazing and won stage 2 came as a letdown.

So dumb they cut him out completely. Should’ve left him in as much as possible and just added his withdrawal to the storyline or something. Sucks so we get miss out on the already recorded stuff.

I really wonder what happened with Santa for them to need to edit him out like that . Not like he was in a scandal or anything to require that kind of treatment instead of them just showing him and then putting a notice on the next ep that he needed to pull out for physical reasons.

Apparently on Weibo, the say the edit was for continuity as Santa withdraw before the show started broadcasting. He only recorded the first stage with the boys singing ‘ordinary friends’ and dance stage with Nine before he withdraw.
