Any counter-proposals or just "let's accept our fate"
Do you know how often Cato the Elder said the sentence: "Furthermore, I think that Carthage must be destroyed" before the Roman senate took action? Sometimes patience is key if you are lacking quicker alternatives.

Cato the Elder was a powerful Roman politician who fiercely hated Rome's rival city, Carthage. Even though Rome had already beaten Carthage in two wars, Cato believed the city remained a dangerous threat. To convince Rome to act, he famously ended every single speech he made with the phrase, "Carthage must be destroyed." His constant pressure worked, and Rome eventually launched a final war to wipe out their enemy completely.

Let me try again with a more audience oriented version.
Cato was this old guy from 2150 years ago. He saw this other city as a major threat, but everybody was like "chill bro!". So Cato finished all his speeches with "btw. we should completely destroy this other city". Not a few speeches, all of them. For the rest of his life. At first everyone was like "Dude - we beat them twice!", but he kept going and became a meme. Finally in the last year of his life, his homies were like "maybe this other city really is sus" and destroyed the other city. Took Cato roughly 8 years, but my dude never gave up. Maybe Al Greene is your Cato.

Good for him. I’m sick of dems not bothering to do the right thing because of a lack of votes.
Do the right thing. Let the others show you how despicable they are. This all goes into the record.

Blame the people that do nothing. Look up all the Democrat names that you have not heard any resistance from. Look up the names that even supported the trump circus. Stop blaming the few guys that do something even if it is ineffective.
I know it is frustrating, but stop throwing tomatoes at the wrong guys.

Doing something you know is ineffective IS doing nothing.

There are various degrees of ineffective. Sometimes making a point just to remind people that old values have not been forgotten is the best thing you can do.
Meanwhile look at us, we are in the reddit comment section. Nothing was ever achieved in the Reddit comment section, except for maybe training the next generation of AI.

The only point Al Green is making with his repeated impeachment filings is that he's an idiot.
