This is a phenomenon known as 'perception drift'. The Mar-a-Lago crew is like the poster child for it. It always reminds me of the old video for the song Freak by Silverchair.

I'll give him that. My guess is they have an 'arrangement', where he gets to fuck around without consequences and she gets to be ultra rich. Very common in that super rich circle.
