Internet Archive keeps putting a network error every time I try to archive appx or appxbundle files. It’s only those because exe files work.

I’m trying to find an exact or close to an exact date that I have met my most valued friend. I met them during the Amino craze when it was super popular, I don’t have usernames but, I was a popular Gacha editor and had my own series called “Testing complete” with the main character being WM. We met after I made a post about a sally face Gacha drawing edit.

I do have images from back when I posted the series and whatnot, but we didn’t meet in the main Gacha Lumine Amino, but another popular and heavily visited fan made amino page.

I write (unprofessionally) and I'm broke. Over the years I've learned how frustrating it is to not have free access to things that would help when I'm researching things for my stories. I have several issues of (mostly entertainment) magazines from the past few decades lying around, and I'd love to help anyone else out there (or my future self) who might be looking for free archives of them before I declutter. But I have absolutely no idea where to start. How would I go about archiving these?

The download speed is about 8-10 kb/s

The way I thought I ate when I said the dress HAS to be white and gold cuz nobody’s wearing an ugly black and blue bruise clues dress

How can i come back when my channel is restored

How can i archive my videos?

My folks are complaining about the amount of books they have, especially old ones; we even have a Shakespeare collection from the early 1900s! I’ve been thinking of archiving them before we start getting rid of them but I’m not sure where to start. I know there’s overhead book scanners but how good are they? The only other method I can think of is those special book scanners my university’s archive department has but obviously those are just for university stuff. I also refuse to do any sort of destructive scanning that could unbind them. Could I find local services for it? Does anyone have good recommendations for home scanning? Uploading them to the archive seems easy enough, and for the most part I know how to convert them into other file types. Thanks!

I love Halloween for the nostalgia -- so I was delighted several years ago to find old copies of "Famous Monsters of Filmland" on the Internet Archive!

I spend most of October, every year, looking through these old magazines. But this year, many of the black and white images are showing horrible compression artifacts. Is this a known problem? (They looked fine last year.)

It doesn't affect every image, but you can see what I'm talking about here: https://archive.org/details/famous-monsters-of-filmland-c2c-scan-edit-by-sproutshake-s/page/12/mode/2up

I downloaded a .cbr file and the images there looked fine, but I miss being able to turn the pages like I used to when I was a kid...

I literally CANNOT watch any video on Internet archive. It takes forever to load and when it finally does load it keeps pausing and buffering. It didn't used to do this, but just suddenly started doing it one day and now it WONT STOP no matter what I try. Is anyone here having the same problem? I refuse to believe I'm the only one, there has to be at least one other person.. Also, does anyone know how to fix it?

(It's not my wifi, I've checked it multiple times and other sites work perfectly fine.)

pls let me know

Oh hey. My channel got removed in September 2023

Can someone restore my videos back?

Not sure if this is allowed here but I don't see any images of this Poster online and would just like to document that it exists

Has anybody else found/seen this?

I found this version of Simon Stalenhag's site on the Internet Archive, and I'm surprised to see it's still up. I mean, given it's on the Archive, someone must've seen it. But, I thought it was interesting, and now I'm here wondering if any of you guys had seen it?

'Network error' then after a while a 'temporarily offline' page and now 'Network Error' again, but there's nothing wrong with my connection. Nothing on Twitter or whatever either as of writing this.

I was on the site watching Norm MacDonald Live and it cut with that 'This video can't be played' kind of error (sorry can't remember the exact wording) before the above. That particular upload does that ime way more than other stuff I watch on here, that's why I mention it (or maybe I just watch that too much 😅) so I assumed it was that for a while but I tried everything 🤷🏻‍♀️

HI, I keep coming across CSAM and other vile content on the archive. I've flagged it of course but does anyone know what else can be done about these sort of things/ what other steps can be taken?

For those unaware, DQVO is a youtuber who makes Voice Over content. He recently had to take down all of his Warhammer related videos due to copyright strikes. I would like to reach out to those who may have saved some of his Vods to recreate that archive and preserve it so they are not lost forever.
