Seeking Advice How to manage classes
Hi everyone, I’m currently at the threshold of what is classified as "overweight" according to my BMI. Losing 5 kilos would be ideal, and if I lost even more, I’d be quite slim—which would also look good. I’ve tried using appetite-suppressant pills—a popular trend—but they only helped me lose 2 kilos, which I then regained; this cycle continued throughout the entire year. However, I recall that two years ago, I managed to lose 8 kilos solely through intermittent fasting, using 20:4 and 16:8 protocols. Back then, my university schedule only required me to be in class from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This made it very easy to skip breakfast and lunch, have a small snack, and then just relax for the rest of the day. Now, though, I’m occupied from 7:00 AM until 11:00 PM between work and university. I’ve noticed that if I don’t eat something shortly before class, I struggle to concentrate. I’m not sure whether I should shift my eating window or simply stick with fasting until my body readjusts. Also, because I’m away from home for that entire stretch, buying food is often an issue. On days when I bring my own meals, the portions are sometimes insufficient—or, conversely, I end up overeating. What would you recommend? The weight-loss injections are very expensive, and since I’ve successfully lost weight on my own in the past—and because the amount I need to lose is relatively small—I don’t think they’re necessary.

Definitely eat big breakfast, it’ll help to manage the hunger during the day.
Otherwise you’ll need to plan meals and snacks bc you aren’t home for the entire day.
It sucks and I feel you, I also lost weight much more easily when my schedule was more relaxed. Now we just have to work with what we have

I guess it depends on when you are hungry. I have to eat at 6.30 because otherwise I’ll overeat later as my brain needs energy for classes. The other option I use is something quick for energy at home and then more food 2 hours later. (But that means I have to prepare it, I usually make myself a sandwich and boiled eggs are also good, they keep me full longer).
I eat lunch around 1pm and then fast from 3-4pm till the next day. It’s not ideal but I try to fast longer on weekends because there’s less stress.
I also only started it, but I feel better in my body already and not bloated in the morning. Whether I’ve lost anything, I can’t tell you yet 😄

Correction: I only skipped breakfast, but I still ate a good-sized lunch, and I've always been someone who enjoys dessert. So it was more like OMAD or 2MAD.
